In the world of detailing, it’s well known that protective films behave like a real “skin”: with heat they expand, absorbing environmental contaminants and fine particles; as they cool, these become sealed within the micro-layers of the film. The result? An invisible yet persistent contamination that over time makes the surface appear dull, grayish, less responsive and compromises the aesthetic effect and performance of the material.
LIMPIA was created to work in depth, penetrating the pores of the film to effectively remove embedded dirtwithout altering its chemical-physical structure. Its formula is inspired by the logic of professional cosmetics: it works like a “technical cleansing milk”, able to preserve the elasticity, top coat, and regenerative capacity of the PPF, without weighing down or stressing the surface.
What sets it apart from other PPF and Wrap cleaners?
Many products on the market tackle film cleaning with solvents, abrasives, or aggressive surfactants, which:
- Dry out the film, making it brittle and prone to cracking;
- Alter the top coat, increasing porosity and making it easier for new dirt to accumulate;
- Negatively interact with protective coatings, reducing their lifespan and performance.
Limpia is a technical cleaner that replaces abrasive polishes, which are highly discouraged for removing this type of dirt on films.
